Shikshya Foundation Nepal seeks to facilitate the education of children in need. Through partnerships with like minded schools and organizations throughout Nepal like the Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC), Sathya Udhyan, and the Snow Yak Foundation, Shikshya Foundation has provided educational services to at-risk children whose lives have been uprooted by poverty, unstable family lives or the 2015 earthquake.

Shikshya Foundation Nepal strongly believes that while the emphasis on formal education is important, it is equally important that education can take place beyond classrooms, especially through reading, arts and culture. Thus the foundation collaborates with Srijanalaya to bring Art Works! Sangai Khelaun, an art therapy initiative to more than 600 children in Gorkha and Rasuwa Districts, is partnered with Naad Sangeet Pathshala to teach music to 120 underprivileged children for free, and supports Photo Kathmandu, which is in an annual international photo exhibition in Kathmandu.
